we freaking lost the first round of Wira Debate! usually Assunta makes it quite far, but the FIRST round? we’re losers, man! the only consolation is that i won Best Speaker of the round, and we lost with something. sigh.
the teachers were being supportive and encouraging, but obviously disappointed in us. we tried so hard, but it wasn’t enough. sigh*
anyway, enough of that upsetting news. let’s talk about Sunday! I went out with Noreen, Carolyn and Bernice and Adeline as well, and met up with Laura later that day! we were just walking around until Laura came. passed her her birthday Heineken (LOL) and had waffle with her. it was so fun after ages of not being able to see her nor talk to her and missing her party. sigh*
but someone else was being so not fun on that day. won’t mention who, but i feel like kicking her for being self-centred and assuming. sheesh.
last night i misunderstood, and i thought it was the end. it really wasn’t, but i cried like it was. i don’t ever want that to happen. my goodness. Carolyn? thanks for being there last night even though it was like, midnight. you always make me happi-er at least. *hug!*
